Serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs)

SNRIs increase the extracellular availability of neurotransmitters serotonin (5-HT) and norepinephrine (NE). Think of serotonin as calming (“serene”) and norepinephrine (NE), also known as noradrenalin, as eNErgizing.
